wait so tumblr deleted college sophomore $20k in debt’s post? because she was getting anonymous death threats?

there are entire tumblrs dedicated to outing and harrassing LGBTQ* people, and i’m sure that results in death threats. i’m guessing based on the ignorance and hate i see on tumblr that plenty of tumblrs run by marginalized people get death threats, whether they’re public or personal blogs.

does tumblr take action in those situations?

The fuck? As in why the fuck are people so moronic that they send death threats, what the fuck was she expecting (didn’t she realize people are idiots who will attack you personally when you have an opinion that differs from theirs?), and why the fuck is tumblr so selective about what threat-receiving posts they’ll delete?
